Could have used Fullerton tonight(gasp never thought I'd utter those words) Mariotta is hurt. Having to play the best team in the East with no ECHL caliber goaltender. Down 4-1 midway through. Somehow come all the way back. Score with a minute left to take the lead. Give it right up. Going to OT tied at 5 lol

Lol you gotta be kidding me. Delayed penalty/penalty shot call coming in OT and they score to win it and we'll never find out. Jackals win 6-5 with no ECHL caliber goalie against the best team in the East after being down 4-1 midway through the 2nd. In the last 3 games 2 of them they beat the top 2 teams in the East. Damn I almost decided to leave in the 2nd when it was 4-1 too.

all our prospects are going to become stars and/or top tier NHL players, Myers is a franchise D and Tim Murray is the equivalent of 90s era Lou Lamoriello and Ken Holland.
Cheers to that. I couldn't agree more. GO SABRES! Greatest Last Place Team Ever :yo:

Malone has played in just four of the Crimson's twenty games this year. He has six points and twelve shots on goal.

Looking forward to seeing Bailey live tonight.

Well you got to see him score his 30th of the season - well unless you were out getting a "pop".

@SabresProspects - Justin Bailey gets his 30th goal of the year to give Sault Ste. Marie a 3-2 lead at Niagara.

Update - SSM leads Niagara 4-2 after the first period. Baileys goal was a shorthanded goal - scored at 12:04 of the first period.
It happened on a 2 on 1 break with Darnell Nurse feeding Bailey for the goal. The other Sabres prospect on SSM - Jean Dupuy - is not in the lineup.

Bailey was pretty underwhelming tonight, mind you the game was very sloppy. On that line McCann was absolutely invisible, for a prospect with that much skill he doesn't really do anything. I liked Ritchie alot. First time seeing DeAngelo live, what a smooth effortless player.

Does anyone have some more information on Malone and his injury problems? I really like him as a darkhorse prospect and his point per game numbers actually look great, but damn that's a lot of games missed this season and apparently it wasn't just one big injury either, but multiple smaller ones/other reasons?

Prospects Recap - Thursday, February 6 - Bailey Reaches Milestone - Kris Baker @SabresProspects - SabresProspects.com

OHL - Justin Bailey scored his 30th goal of the year and added an assist as Sault Ste. Marie dropped a wild 8-6 decision at Niagara on Thursday night.
Bailey made it a 3-2 game at 12:04 of the opening period.
He came in with Darnell Nurse (EDM) on a two-on-one rush and slid a low shot underneath the goaltender from the slot area.
The shorthanded goal allowed Bailey to hit the 30-goal mark for the first time in his OHL career.
The Greyhounds loss was their first in 11 games since acquiring Bailey from Kitchener.
The other Sabres prospects on the Soo - Forward Jean Dupuy missed his second game with an unspecified injury.

Only 21? Geeez, the way people here talk I figured at minimum 38 of his 34 goals came on the PP ..... ;)
