I would like to see Sutter. I want us, as a club, to play a very heavy game, clog up the neutral zone, and play some god-damned defense. I can't stand watching other teams score within a minute thirty of a Coyotes goal.

Brent Sutter, sure, but not Darryl. This lineup isn't anywhere close to what Darryl needs.

If we got to the point where we're replacing Tocchet, there are some good options.

Brent Sutter. Tim Hunter. Dale Hunter, if you can convince him to leave London. Todd Nelson. Bob Hartley. That's just a few off the top of my head.

Why not stop it with your ignorant posts about DT. You know damn well he is one hell of a coach, and if you think otherwise it just shows your lack of hockey knowledge. You and the rest of the DT haters are pissed because things have not gone as planned this year. DT will get a job soon enough and prove to you and YOUR fanboys how good he really is.
You should play nice, too. Come on. Why not start a Tippett appreciation thread. I once suggested keeping all anti-Tippett posts to an anti-Tippett thread. Let's keep Tippett off of the Tocchet thread.

Proper trading and drafting can get Darryl the kind of team he needs.

Have you noticed that the Coyotes are working on their close game? These past 2 games I've seen a good number of cross ice passing looking for the tip in at the far corner of the net.

Tippett sucks. Why did other guy bring him up in the Tocchet thread. I haven't been the one to bring up that trash pile in months. The knob slob set can't seem to help themselves. I'll vow not to bring him up. Can you do the same?

I'm that case, can we be friends again? Haha! With that out of the way, I really have no reason to keep being a grouchy little bitch every time we interact on here. I should be able to comport myself with some modicum of tact. I'll try it out. Decent rt :)

No. Tippett is trash. Very glad we fired an underperforming employee. Unfortunately, we hired the replacement candidate who had the strongest interview and the best resume, but he still ended up a dud. That happens in life. Tocchet's performance has absolutely nothing to do with Tippett. Both suck.
Do you mean under performing with that 70 point season last year? What should it have been with that roster? 90 points? Lets assume your right:huh:. Why are we at a 50 point pace now with a better roster? I mean anybody could have done better as the coach last year, should have been a layup for Tocc or anyone, to get to 90 points this year (according to your logic). Tocc is making the last coach look pretty good now (careful what you wish for).

So Tocc had the strongest interview and best resume? What do you base that on? A 28 year old GM that has never hired a little league coach or an East coast based owner enamored with Tocc from his glory days?

When managing a business, you better understand the circumstances under which you expect your employees to perform and evaluate the results based on the tools available to meet that performance. If you don't get the results, you have to ask, did you put the employee in a position to succeed? If you replace the employee, are you sure you can bring in somebody that will do a better job? Its a fine line and you don't know what you don't know and this tail spin we are in this year is a direct result of poor management decisions.

Yup. This mess starts from the top, our owner. AB should have hired someone with experience to run this franchise, but no, he was more interested in making a fool of himself and the organization. I thought RT was the best of the group they interviewed, but I would have broadened the search, and I think an experienced hockey man would have done that. AB was more interested in getting rid of Doan and DT and not thinking of the consequences. Everyone involved in this mess has to take some of the blame.

I have a couple of specific beefs about Tocchet's system. First, when the D pinches many times there is no forward high to prevent breakaways. Second, on power plays, Tocchet plays with 1 defensemen with the diminutive Keller at left point. That allows far too many short handed opportunities. Third, Tocchet sends 3 players into a scrum in the corners. That leaves the weak side wide open for uncontested shots.

The 2nd gripe reminds me of all those failed years of Boedker in the same spot. Ugh. We need to acquire a RHD PP specialist (Honka anyone?) to save these damned coaches from themselves. The 3rd is extremely true and a huge culprit for all the blown leads. If you want to categorize every game tying goal against, i bet the biggest pile would be what you outlined im gripe 3.

Yes, and those consequences are harsh, it's called Karma.
