have you look at our cap space... ? I don't think so
What does cap space has to do with them being old?
The next few years the Habs will keep being mediocre thanks to those two, as soon as they start to decline, the Habs will be heading to the bottom again. Unless, like I said, they find some high end talents out side of top 10 or maybe Kokeniemi turns out well. But so far right now, the Habs center depth is one of the weakest

The top 3 are self explanatory. Just good 1st lines, and depth, and not as many question marks.
I hate some of Montreal's contracts and the term on them
Plus Edmonton and Vancouver have that All-Star center moving forward

It's tough to call because most of it depends on development of several prospects. It's hard enough to evaluate what one prospect will look like in 3-5 years, exponentially harder to evaluate organizations top 5-7 prospects.

If I had to take a guess here's how I see things:

1. WPG - Already have high end young talent and lots of depth in the minors.
2. TOR - Lots of high end talent but might have cap issues?
3. CGY - Lots of high end talent but have an aging core piece (Giordano) don't have a goaltender in the pipeline.
4. MTL - Have underrated prospect pool but 2 core pieces are aging (Weber and Price)
5. VAN - Lots of young exciting talent.
6. EDM - Lacks depth the teams above them have.
7. OTT - Solid prospect pool

Overall I think they all look pretty solid to be honest so it makes them hard to evaluate.

sure we do suck at center....
You just proved my point, that’s a weak ass center depth
Danault? Lol
The next two aren’t showing any franchise level talents now.
The latter two are still magic beans

This is like me saying the Canucks has great defence depth because of:
Hughes
Juolevi
Woo
Brisebois

Well the truth is only Hughes has shown some high end talents because he played well in the men WC before he even got drafted.
Juolevi has suffered two major injuries and he’s not even 21.
Other two are magic beans

Poehling and suzuki are "Magic beans":laugh::laugh::laugh:
Let me guess, Monahan is a top 10 center in the league ?

He’s got a Canucks avatar. He’s supposed to hate Calgary more than Montreal. Maybe you can take a hint

If not you have 3 franchise #1 centers I guess. Congrats

Flames ? ya, they have zero goaltending and Gio will be too old to carry. The flames are riding a wave this year that won't last long. I like the team a lot but I have zero confidence in the team direction

Jets, will be getting too old, will lose Myers, Trouba, Wheelers will be old and I don't trust Helle on the long run to become consistent.
In 3 years...

Weber will be 36 and still making $7.9M
Price will be 34 and making $10.5M
Petry will be 34 and a UFA
Gallagher and Tatar UFA

Saying you have "zero confidence" or "don't trust" is pretty meaningless because it has no objective basis.

I have "zero confidence" that Poehling or Suzuki will develop into top 6 forwards, and I "don't trust" Price to be a consistent goalie at age 34... am I doing this right?
