The thing with Rydahl is he'd still earn $750K in the AHL, which is more than he'd be making if he stayed in the SHL. So he may be inclined to remain in North America for the year because of that.

He was great the first year in chicago on the 4th line. But his speed is declining and he's not as valuable as before. He was a guy often a step too slow on the PK, so I think there's better PK options but he's best as a defensive 4th line winger who can take the right side draws.
at LW we have Panarin, Kreider, Lafreniere, Othmann, Cuylle, Berard, and more. Is somebody getting traded to make room for Othmann and Cuylle?

Othmann is competing for a spot with like Kravtsov. Othmann needs to win a spot in top six to make the team.
