Byram has yet to play a full season's worth of NHL games, the way he played last game is a testament to his skill and hockey intelligence. And he will only get much, much better as we progress towards 16 victories.
Couldn't agree more. He's been playing catchup hockey ever since he got back. Everyone else were NHL vets in late season form.
Bo only had a handful of NHL games under his belt and was basically in pre-season mode coming back, since he had so much time off. He's been battling through concussion fears in the back of his mind and then the playoffs started.
Imagine how tough of a mental test it was to go through such a dark time for so long, then come back to the intesity of the playoffs and watch G get obliterated behind the net, and find a way to go back out there and fight through the dark thoughts, and still have a pretty good game.
Super happy and proud of Bo. One of the toughest starts to an NHL career I've seen and he's handled it very well.
