not up to date on Lockwood. Is he ahead of schedule for recovering from shoulder surgery? Can you tell based on watching him?

Watching him play he was the best player on the ice. Fast, dynamic stickhandling, skating circles around the opponent. I'd like him to just play a skilled finesse game and be a top offensive player for them. Hopefully, injuries are behind him.

Jack Hughes seriously chose to go back to NTDP? Mann, that was that whole reason Hughes was like "f*** Utica Im going NHL or NCAA"

He didn't have a choice. He couldn't finish enough credits to graduate early. Hes born in 2001. The kids are still in highschool.

Most players who play in the NCAA in their draft year are late birthdays so they are 18 in their draft year.

Quinn Hughes vs Vermont last weekend.

Amazing. He played in every situation and logged over 28 minutes of ice time.

Hit the post 3 of 4 times and could have easily had 5 points.

Also check out canuck prospect Will Lockwood who plays w. Quinn.
He lookes fully recovered and explosive !

Hughes play in the offensive zone is unreal, he is constantly moving around in the offensive zone looking for space or setting up the play. He's going to change the entire complexion of our PP because he will force guys to move around as he doesn't stay in one spot.

If he developed power in his shots id have no problem saying he will be a 60+ point/yr player in his prime years in the NHL.

For those not watching or listening, what are the details? Which goaltender? Who is scoring?

6 goals on 13 shots for U18 squad.
Hughes not playing great, but every player on michigan is playing bad. It's an exhibition, and they are playing like it. A lot of teams play down to the U18 squad.

None of this affects the standings.
Lockwood, hasnt done anything either.

Much appreciated! Consider a post-game report.

Really Really bad hockey from michigan. Just so sloppy.

Jack Hughes was great and is so fun to watch with his zone entries.
Matthew Boldy is another 2019 draft guy that really stood out for his skating and playmaking

Quinn didn't do much. Pretty much every michigan player had no interest in playing against a bunch of 17 year olds.
You could tell they were so disinterested.

The one thing with Michigan's defense and Hughes is they are playing very tentative to take rushes with the puck because their goalie lavigne is playing like TRASH.

I swear michigan would control the play for like 3-4 minutes straight, then WM would have a very basic 3v3 rush and they'd score. They cannot get a save.

It shows in the stats.
