Game is on TV for those that have the Big TEN network.

Love it

Lockwood goal w. Secondary Assist from Hughes.

Michigan has dropped in rankings. Down to #15 now.

Huges has made a couple of bad plays today, but for every bad play he makes 3-4 good plays

What a story it would be if we can get his brother.

It would legit be amazing. Even if Jack didn't hit his projected ceiling, the potential chemistry between the two Hughes could pay off big time for the team.

Also have to hope the family connection maybe leads to a potential family discount when it comes time.

Hughes with a beauty bank pass assist game winner to Norris on 3 on 3 OT.

Dont think it counts on stats tho.

Sooo fun watching him.

He was on the ice every other shift in the 3rd period.

Game 2 is on tv again tomorrow.

that's two points now that won't count because of OT in NCAA.

Should have 22 points

That's going to be Hughes for the rest of his career. Unfortunately no matter how hard he works he will always have some deficiencies in his defensive game. High risk high reward. Good thing we need these type of game breakers.

If you look at a player like Tyson Barrie, he looks a whole lot better on a good team than on a bad team.

Hughes is likely going to be the same way. If he plays on a team that is simply going to squander the plays he makes, his defensive miscues are going to be a whole lot more apparent. On the other hand if he’s producing elite offensive numbers he’s irreplaceable.

Sure looks like we just drafted the best forward and defensemen in Vancouver Canucks history in back to back drafts

I like both picks... But, honestly if that ends up being true it says more about the lack of success in our organization as a whole, over the quality of drafting.

Best forward is a conversation between Sedin and Bure, but... who exactly qualifies for best defenseman in Canucks history currently? It is not hard to reach if the bar is set so low.
