What did he do? Fall?
That has nothing to do with this. Every beer leaguer can hit an almost empty net from inside the slot.
Switzerland is well coached team, but they need star player for tournaments like this to be successful
I hate every jersey in this tournament. Never let Nike anywhere near the NHL.
Switzerland needs more discipline
No. One was a perfectly placed spear, up through the side of the jock straight to the testicles. The other was a player lightly placing his stick in to a guys stomach area
Lol not at the level of a world championship in a playoff game.
So what does missing an open net have to do with?
1 open net miss = bad player
So, back to the real question, how is that called in the rulebook? Because there is no call worded as "lightly placing his stick in to a guys stomach area".
And non ever miss
In order to prove yourself as a good player you have to convert on your chances against a top competition. Everything else is puuure BS.
Should have been a 5'. Refs haven't helped us in this game...but we can't complain. We killed ourselves with that stupid too many men we took early in the 2nd. That was the beginning of the end. Powerplay has been the difference. Our PK was good but our PP wasn't. Good game from our part...much better than expected after all those injury concerns and Hollenstein starting. Not quite enough though.
Nobody says he's a bad player. But every time somebody misses an open net, it's the question of skill. What are you even arguing about? If Steve Stamkos misses a goal from two meters it's still him having not being skilled enough in that particular situation. Doesn't mean he's a bad player. Jesus.
1 play is more relevant than the rest of his career
That and the PP was missing today.
Zamula great block
Well that’s not what he’s saying. By his logic Stamkos wouldn’t truly be a good player if he missed.
You act like his whole career is multiple time Conn Smythe winner. I can find a lot of "good players" by your standard. They are in fact not good though.
I think that's it
Yeah...was just adding that to my post. Russian PK was very aggressive though...
holy f*ck the diving. This is becoming unwatchable.
Stamkos had already earned the benefit of the doubt a long time ago as a premiere goal scorer in the best league. Lol way to twist my words.
Khovanov seems to be doing well even in limited time.
