This is the place to collect all of your thoughts, observations, questions, and support for the CBJ during the Summer Training Camp.

PLEASE NOTE: This thread has been declared a "Cyber Safe Space". It is not a place to collect your rants or complaints. If you must argue about Wennberg or the price of beer in the Club Level, take it some place else. Everyone has something they wish had gone better or had gotten more in trade, but this space is about the prospects we do have, and the one's that are in Columbus

This space shall be one, bright, shining, KumByYa moment for our favorite hockey team. After all, you get to watch some hockey, it's free, and you get out of the heat for a bit.

While your intentions are admirable I'll take the under.

I won't make it to camp, but I'd be excited to hear how Thurkauf, Collins, and Vainio look. I completely forgot about Vainio, but I'm hoping he finds success with the Jackets eventually.

Well, and obviously PLD, Stenlund, and Abramov.

As an out-of-towner, I'll be living this through the commentary here. Many thanks in advance to y'all! :)

Gavrikov has just been traded to SKA and will stay in the KHL for awhile. It looks like Clumbus couldn't convince him to come to NA.

He signed a two-year deal.

Probably told he had to compete for a spot, but had a chance. Took the Olympic route instead, I guess.

So did he play the NHL card to get a better deal in the KHL? I read that his teammates were all jumping to other teams. What is the status of the SKA team?

Thanks

SKA is the team that won the cup last year. They also had Panarin at one time, and Kovalchuk too. They have boat loads of money. We may never see Gav.

I didn't get to watch CBJ Prospects' periscopes from today, so don't have anything to add...not to get too much into Gavrikov here, but disappointed that came out while he was here in the states...means he signed it before traveling...

but hey, he's going to the zoo tomorrow

Guys, Gavrikov is going to the zoo on Tuesday. Because always the zoo.
