I get some reason behind pretty much everyone on the roster that they either want to get a better look at or fighting for a roster or "first callup" spot...but why Wesley? Just so he can play a game...pure nepotism? Why not McKeown or...ANYONE else?

Hard to tell but for 1.4 mil he can continue his sucky unsustainable 11/29 in 67 from last season as far as I'm concerned. What the **** ever. It not's like we have goal scorers coming out of the wood work here.

I'll say this for Ryan, by way of a non-sarcastic compliment. I'm glad we have a veteran guy there to push Necas out of the lineup. Whether Peters is serious about it or not, he's talking about doing something downright dumb with an 18 year old. A couple of years ago there would have been nothing to stop that trainwreck from happening. I'm no fan of having Ryan as a regular player, but it's better than if that spot was truly up for grabs.
