Watching this game, it's pretty boring. Looks like Bern really wanted this game. Top line for NJ looks bored.

very obvious it was a fun game where no one wanted to get hurt. our team dominated regardless, and their goalie was very good. can’t really take anything from this game other than it seems like a fun experience
for the guys. top line was clearly trying to feed nico the puck all day, i wouldn’t make any assumptions about chemistry or sloppiness from today

I thought Miles Wood looked like he’s in game shape. He’s obviously been working out pretty hard back home before he signed and came back for camp.

Most of these people have no idea what a properly developed forward prospect in the NHL even looks like, so I am not surprised

Wood, Bratt, and Johansson have looked PHENOMENAL as the preseason has worn on. If their level of play now is any indication of what we can expect early in the regular season, it would be huge for our depth scoring

Wood, Bratt, and Johansson have looked PHENOMENAL as the preseason has worn on. If their level of play now is any indication of what we can expect early in the regular season, it would be huge for our depth scoring

Johansson is a fantastic skater. If he's healthy for most of the year he'll have a big impact on the team. And yea, Bratt's been one of our best players this pre-season. I like that 2nd line quite a bit.

This game reminded me of the couple games against the rags. Most of the team wasn't really trying hard, and the other team was going pretty hard. I guess what I take out of it is that the rags are better than SC Bern.

Yeah, I think MoJo is going to make a difference this year. It's part of why I don't think we "lost" as much this summer as some think we have. A healthy MoJo alone could help make up for what Gibbons, Grabner, and Maroon combined to give us last year. And if Zacha takes a step production wise, I think we're in pretty good shape up front.

Why eventually it might be better to switch Palms and Bratt.

That third line I am not worried about at all. I think we could see some good secondary scoring from Wood-Zajac-JQ

Yeah we have only seen glimmers of it this preseason. It’s crazy how he can take over a game when he wants to.

There’s beauty in that kind of selflessness. Hall knew what everyone else did- this was Hischier’s night (and Mueller’s, to a lesser extent).
