This is a good way to start the season. West Ham is in the mix for 7th and Liverpool look at least a class above. Their lead would be doubled if not for Fabianski.

Only blemish is the yellow on Trent because Anderson dived. Gomez had one good play and one bad play but doesn't look hurt. That 2nd goal right before half time was great to have.

I think they needed Fekir to catch City, but I think they are the 2nd best team in the league (meh)

They could always get Fekir or someone like him in January. I’m ok with it, they do need to see what they have before they add in another option. Lallana and Sturridge deserve a bit of a shot to show they can give something to the push this season.

Agreed. Rough schedule to start the season, though getting slaughtered by Pool in the season opener doesn't exactly help building the team.
