Nobody thinks the economy just goes up forever, but there's a big difference between a correction and a total collapse. The same people telling others they don't understand how this virus is affecting people (again, a small percentage of the population) don't seem to really see what could potentially happen to society if we were to implement the measures being suggested.You're the silly one here if you thought the economy just goes up forever without a correction.
People can still try to find jobs if they lose them and governments can still try to implement policies to relieve people from economic strain.
It really is that simple. Lose your job or business? That's fine, get another one. Surely, the government is going to take care of us.
