Oh look, more crap to take ice time from young guys.
?? Did the deal leak? What are you talking about?
Where?
According to Friedman on Sportsnet he said it maybe sounds possibly that Hagelin is going to the Caps and Jaskin to the Kings. Thoughts?
To me this doesn't really make sense.
On TSN on the Tim and Sid show, Friedman came on and was talking about the Coyle to Boston trade and mentioned that it sounds possible that Hagelin is going g to the Caps and Jaskin to the Kings.Where?
Friedman mentioned a potential Hagelin-Jaskin swap.
If Jaskin was about to be waived, why is LA now trading for him?Must have been on TV, here is what was posted on the Kings board:
WD will have him on the Reign in no time. That would be a nice add for LA, adds youth, and speed, and his a RFA next year not in line for a huge raise

Am I missing something? Why waive DSP if a roster player goes the other way? Caps have limited space. Kings don’t need a Burakovsky at what it will cost to retain him. Kings need to shed excess for Luff, Grundstrom, and Amadio.
Hagelin doesn’t hold the value he once had. Hoping for a 3rd. Be pleasantly surprised if it’s a 2cd.
Honestly as a Pens fan I’ll be sick. While the dude will not light up the score board he is a monster on forecheck and backcheck and is damn good on the PK I don’t want that on a metro rival. If it’s Hags I might get sick
This is intriguing, got to think burakovsky would have to be going to kings then.My gut feeling tells me it is Kovalchuk. Few reasons:
1. Reirden knows him personally and played with him in Atlanta
2. Kovy is perfect 2nd/3rd line winger and improves Caps PP2 dramatically
3. Russians in Washington are being valued very high
As a Caps fan I’ll be sick if it is any of the three mentioned.Honestly as a Pens fan I’ll be sick. While the dude will not light up the score board he is a monster on forecheck and backcheck and is damn good on the PK I don’t want that on a metro rival.
