How is Dahlin leading? He hasn't shown that he will be the best of the bunch. Miro has been the best to date and can't imagine he won't get better. Makar can pass them all.
Dahlin is by far the biggest talent in that group.
Makar
Dahlin
Heiskanen
Fox
Chabot
Hughes
Incredible list of young dmen. Exciting times for NHL fans.
Fox definitely has #1 potential. Hughes doesn't due to defensive weaknesses.
Dahlin is younger and did litteraly everything better last season, offensively, defensively, moving the puck. This season, they have been comparable. Dahlin has scored a lot more in less minutes since they got into the League.
Dahlin.........because he's better?
Both have 13 points this season, Dahlin is a great PP QB unlike line Heiskanen, just using 5v5 is irrelevant. Dahlin outproduces him massively per minute. Dahlin has 57 NHL points in 102 games and Heiskanen 47 in 103 games since they got into the league, which was what I was talking about. That is a large difference, especially considering the gap in age. Since they came into the NHL, Dahlin has also had better defensive stats, don’t base it of a 20 game sample size where Dahlin still has better scoring per minute.
That's just wrong. Heiskanen is easily in top 3 of this bunch defensively. Easily.Dahlin, Makar, Chabot and Hughes all have a considerably higher PPG in the NHL than Heiskanen, all with comparable or better defensive games. Heiskanen can't match the puck moving ability of any of them, and he lacks the vision, ability to control a game and passing ability of Fox. He is a better skater than Fox, but that is pretty much it. Argue why this post is ridiculous.

1. Dahlin
2. Makar
3. Chabot
4. Hughes
5. Heiskanen/Fox
That's so sad. Catch a Dallas game.

The misinformation about Dahlin doesn’t seem to be working. He has nearly half of the first place votes in this poll and nearly double the amount of votes anyone else has.
