what is today's date?
regardless running backs dont super bowls

QBs
then ol, dl and secondary wins super bowls.

john madden wrote that the old oakland raiders ranked positions by
frnachise qb
ol
then dl or corberback.

game had changed but this philosophy still rings true

im sorry did the pats pass 90 percent of the time? they have no running backs? cowboys had smith that's not a running back that won a sb, terrell davis with broncos, are you reading or just being stubborn and just want this team to be pass happy because you hate teams running the ball?

Al Davis always believed that the game revolved around the vertical passing game, and he wanted the guys who made that happen on offense and guys who prevented it on defense.

I don’t see how one can feel comfortable going into next season with the RBs we currently have.

It was a weak point for us last season. For the SB, Blount-Ajayi-Clement was the perfect combo. Last year running Smallwood-Clement-Adams-Sproles, never worked. Smallwood shouldn’t even be in the rotation, Clement is solid as a change of pace back but shouldn’t start, Adams looked good at times but then horrible, and Sproles might retire. Even if he doesn’t, Dougie P likes to use him in a wierd “workhorse” type of role at times. Really shouldn’t have a 36 ur old do that.

Whether we draft someone or sign we need to improve there.

Crowell was released. Bet you that’s who the eagles pick up. Cheap but effective runner and can catch out of the backfield. Seems like a fit.

I'd take him. He is only 26, and has played 5 straight years on horrible teams. Other than 1 year has averaged over 4.0 Y/C
