KK played more minutes without Toffoli than he played with Toffoli. This is a fact.

Firstly, the Habs PP sucked

Secondly, he was 8th amongst Habs forwards in PP TOI/g.

Why would you expect one of the least used forwards on the PP, to be productive on a bottom 1/3 PP unit???

Once more...you're expecting one of the least used forwards to put up 1st line production.

The problem wasn't Kotkaniemi...its fans who have have unfair and unrealistic expectations.

The two most used threads are about the two players who left the team this summer.....we knew Phil wanted out, he said as much a year ago.............KK we found out he wanted out, because of his usage in the playoffs....

Sorry boys, take some time off, both of those guys did.....and they are NOT even on the team anymore...
Maybe the mods will agree? Just saying...

It's fun to read Doc on the Phil thread of LA Kings. Someone accuse him of being a troll and he respond something like "You could all cut your throats if you're not happy", I mean, he wrote this in a way he was really mad. Is that kind of reaction will make him a good friend with the Kings forum? He also wrote a big message where he bash on Bergevin, we can see all the negative that was written here over the years, everything is there, condensed, angry and grumpy.

I imagine a fan from the outside of Habs board scratching his head and misbeleiving : is he talking about the same team that got into the finals? And is he talking of Danault, really?

True...............that being said, Habs lose in the first round without KK's OT goal.....a circle that goes round and round....

Yes, these guys have their reasons, they might be influenced by their relatives, their friends and agents.
Maybe something could have been done in the season to keep them with us. But it didn't happen, the medias said few negative things, the social medias were worse, you mix that all together and the players got frustrated, for good or bad reasons. We are not in theirs pants to judge. You see, both players have a better pay, a new team with better assignment, I mean, good for them and bad for us if we are a worse team now, we'll see. But It's nice to discuss in a civilise way. We both agree to disagree.

Loved KK, believed he could eventually figure it out and become a beast of a player. As of this last yr, it's undeniable that he is a liability when matched up against top 9s of legit teams. He is still a project, and an expensive project at that. He forced our hand to not be able to see this project through. It is what it is.

I will now love to hate Kotka on the ice. Bergy hit a home run replacing kk and danault at the same time with one player in Dvorak. He will do both of their jobs, but better.
