McDonald isn't the player he once was but i think hes been everything you want from your captain down there. His pending retirement signals a real change. I think it will be very important that whoever guides this team going forward have the right attitude and work ethic. Varone or ghoul would be my choice if they don't go with an outsider. It can't be brennan.

Alarm bells are ringing in my head with Flahr’s endorsement of Ginning. I struggle to see how “we should bring him over next year” is a good idea. Hogberg is a significantly better defenseman.

Any kid who turns 20 after December 31st isn’t eligible. The ones that do are.

So that’s how late birthday's become eligible.
