Does Millman ever play?

At the expense of who??

Pouliot? Wotherspoon?

Its a numbers game and other more important prospects take precedent.

The kicker is Pouliot, Wotherspoon and even Bigras are all UFA’s if any one of them resigns it should be Bigras.

This time of year the Phantoms UFA’s defensemen shouldn’t be blocking York, Millman, Zamula, Hogberg or Wylie from getting playing time as the UFA defensemen most likely won’t be around next season and have little chance of making the Flyers roster if they are resigned.

This is how it works in dysfunctional franchises. They just dont get it.

spot on. Flyers just do not get it - believe rookies can't be good at any level

Gordon has done this shit for years. Giving shitty veterans all the usage; sitting recently signed prospects down the stretch and into playoffs. He’s the only developmental coach who coaches like Ws and Ls are his bottom line — and he ironically plays worse players to achieve it. The organization doesn’t really care because they condone it. Those Hextall AHL seasons were especially a short sighted embarrassment in development and value. To Fletcher’s credit, he hasn’t squeezed the young guys out as much.

As for Millman, he can’t play in the OHL.....he needs actual games.

Why is Sandstrom not in the game. Did he get hurt or is it just another case of Flyer development

I don’t believe Sandstrom is injured, most likely Flyers bad development. They’d rather play soon to be AHL-UFA’s
McIntyre* or McAdam*.

McIntyre could be a candidate for a new AHL contract next season.
