We're 8-7-0. That means we're a mediocre team. The "combos" aren't working. Time for new combos.

15 games in with a sheetload of injuries, and mostly one goal losses. Too early IMO for proclamations. The 40 game mark is a bit more realistic.

Should get better. Could also go into the sewer. It is an enigmatic team.

Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Bourque - Eller - Leblanc
St Pierre - White - Desharnais
Parros

Markov - Subban
Gorges - Dias
Murray - Boullion

That's an...interesting bottom 6...but those top 2 lines deserve to be there. Not that Eller deserves to be the 3rd line centre. But the good news is if Galchenyuk plays well there we could have great centre depth (for once!)

...well, that means that, if the lines remains as they were at the end of the game yesterday, MP won't be used a lot.

I think it's a bad move then. As much as I like Galchenyuk, Eller is the better player thus far. It wouldn't be the right move.

.......Plekanec and Eller should be top 2.

Not a good idea. Start galchenyuk off with 13-15 minutes a game at the center position, he needs to learn the defensive game before being put out there as a #1 C.

Not necessarily a problem. In tight situations, late game lead protection, Eller can be switched in for Galchenyuk, and MT rotates two lines mainly. That is what most teams do when protecting a lead. Another option is to use White or Prust instead of Galchenyuk for occasional defensive zone starts against top competition.

But switch out Desharnais and St-Pierre for Prust and Moen, and you have a really different 12 man unit with lots more options for MT.

I wish we would have Chucky centering a third line before throwing him into the fire and burning him as our first line center.

kid is great, skilled and also very intelligent hockey wise.

how are you gonna burn a 19 years old kid.

He needs to learn playing against the bests

Our lineup will be looking quite good if everyone can come back

Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Gallagher
Gionta - Plekanec - Brière
Bourque - Eller - Prust
Moen - White - Parros/Bournival

No place for Desharnais.....

I verrrrrrrry like that lineup. I could actually see Briere doing something with these 2. Stong first 2 lines, solid 3rd and excellent 4th.

Watch Brière go pointless again and Therrien moves him at center instead of Eller.
