9 of their 16 playoff runs have been 1st round exits or 2nd round exits after beating an underdog. Isles were above us in 19 and went to the ECF two years in a row after beating us in 21.

If you don’t win, then who cares anyway? Unless you really, really fail, like say TB against CBS from a few years ago, or the Leafs vs Bruins in ‘13, no one really remembers the years you didn’t win.

We have a team that went to 4 Finals and won 3 in a single generation. In a post-expansion, salary-cap league, that’s already about as impressive as it gets.

Cool, those accomplishments happened 5 years ago. We’ve been underperforming since, but that’s okay because??? Going 3-11 in the playoffs is horrendous; I get it that you aren’t going to win every season but we can’t even get out of the first round.

The kool aid gang have convinced themselves we should “let the chips fall” because they know that’s what Sleepy will do, not because it’s what we should do.

Our recent playoff record would get most coaches fired. Going out three years in a row in the first round is atrocious.

What has our management done to improve our playoff chances?
