Btw I had no idea that Pettersson was on the Pens and no recollection of how that might've happened

Mikas play to set up Fox’s goal was really great. Got physical with the puck carrier, caused a turnover, set up a tap in goal.

Good to see the kids score. Lafs goal was a nice move and he stood out a lot more tonight.

He's definitely getting his strength back. Tries to push over defenders deep in the zone when 1 on 1 like he did against Dillon in Washington

Roy Firestone announced Rod Tidwell's Arizona Cardinals contract. He will announce Colin Blackwell's Rangers contract of 3 yrs $9M, $3M AAV, but not before telling Blackwell's tragic tricycling incident as a kid, and Blackwell is gonna promise he ain't gonna cry.

He scored a shorty on a similar play against the Flyers. Shoved the other player in the back and stole the puck and scored top shelf.

....It was good to see that the kid line wasn't buried with low ice time but given responsibility and not punished for mistakes.
The kids played great tonight. They have more games like this, they will be used more often. But let's not kid ourselves. We scored 3 goals in the first ten minutes and were up 4-1 after one. This more than anything increased their ice time. With the big lead, Panarin and Strome had the night off with 15 minutes apiece.

Still I was impressed by Chytil and Laff tonight. They looked like a line to be reckoned with.

The Rangers don’t always need a lot of shots to blow open a game. That’s testament to the talent we have. Young teams though often struggle with consistency and don’t always have the killer instinct or the shutdown mentality to seal victory. Sometimes that takes a little while to learn.

This team though if we don’t make the playoffs will be without doubt the best team not to and better than some teams that do. Fox and Lindgren are an outstanding pair and like 22 years old each and Miller at 21 is going to be a hell of a D himself. Did people hear that 21 year old Lundkvist was named the best D in the SHL? There’s more coming.

Panarin and Fox’s respective hockey IQ’s are just off the charts. These two guys make everyone around them better.

Im excited about Miller next year. A more mature Miller means a better second D pair with Trouba.

We will have the best young D in the league in a few years. Lundkvist, Scheider, Jones, and Robertson all have top 4 potential at the very least.

Great job by the kids. Love that kravy got rewarded with a shift with panarin. Hopefully will see more of it.

refs were absolutely atrocious. At least 4 clear as day penalties they failed to call.

kreider still is on the ice too much on es. He is awful lately at ES.

smith needs to just be benched. I love his effort. But he is a turnover machine. And no matter what fancy charts say, hajek looked good and will look better if he wasnt with smith.

Hoping for another strong finish like last season.
Unreal we’ve played pretty well in the last 10 and pretty much made up nothing on the top 4. In fact we have 13 vs Boston’s 14 points.
