Theres no point talking about it any further after the Crosby comment... Nope.An asset can be an AHL- fringe NHL player or a mid round pick. I think Scherbak was worthing that.

You'd think so by the way some posters are talking on here.Do they have banners for those?
They have attitude banners elsewhere ?You'd think so by the way some posters are talking on here.
I know what you're insinuating. Scherbak did nothing to earn his place here. He didn't really improve since he was drafted. It's on him. The 'attitude' thing had nothing to do with it.They have attitude banners elsewhere ?
Did he earn it any less than healthy scratch Peca ?I know what you're insinuating. Scherbak did nothing to earn his place here. He didn't really improve since he was drafted. It's on him. The 'attitude' thing had nothing to do with it.
Probably Nashville, they have banners for everything. They have attitude banners elsewhere ?
Peca has the same amount of points this season as Scherbak does in his NHL career. So yeah I'd say so.Did he earn it any less than healthy scratch Peca ?

Obsessed with anything Nashville it seems, or SubbanProbably Nashville, they have banners for everything.
Insecure people tend to act like he doesObsessed with anything Nashville it seems, or Subban
I'd rather have a Conference Finalist or President's trophy banner from this decade than not.
What point is it living in the past if you're not going to contribute to it?
Not really prospects related, but the Kootenay Ice will move from Cranbrook, BC to Winnipeg.
So Winnipeg has a CHL, AHL, and NHL team? I would think that the CHL and AHL will be fighting for the same fan. I'm not sure this will work out.
It would have been a lot closer than Winnipeg that's for sure. It would have been a natural rivalry with Vancouver and Victoria as well.Should've moved them here to Nanaimo.... I'm still pissed about that.

DLR was unfortunate, but are we really missing him? We also cannot be so naive as to think he and/or Sherby weren't offered up in a trade. A player like Scherbak, I would have liked to have seen the team last season do what you suggested, but the player has to earn it too. I'm not sure he did. He may go on to a bright career, but I don't think he will be someone we will miss. Hudon is another that will soon find himself on another team.
What part of Nanaimo are you in? I lived in Harewood for a good while.Definitely! It's an ideal location. Seemed like a no-brainer to me.
Montreal has a NHL, AHL, Q, CFL and MLS team, and theyre all doing fine.So Winnipeg has a CHL, AHL, and NHL team? I would think that the CHL and AHL will be fighting for the same fan. I'm not sure this will work out.
Theres also 6 times more people in the metropolitan area in MtlMontreal has a NHL, AHL, Q, CFL and MLS team, and theyre all doing fine.
Sure, thats a thing, but I mean, these teams don't seem to struggle AT ALL with attendance ? (Maybe the Als, now?)Theres also 6 times more people in the metropolitan area in Mtl
