Caps just got a lifeline

They did. They played very well and deserved the win. Salvaged the season at least for a little while. Though going forward my confidence in the Caps in any playoff situation is about equivalent to pre World Series Cubs;

Thought this game was in LA...that was a nice roar when Vegas scored.
I heard that too.

I bet a lot of Kings fans sold their tickets tonight to avoid the impending handshake line, much like a lot of our fans did before game 5 back in 2008.

More like the refs are getting worse and worse and are blind.

But the league aint missing that one, he's getting suspended for sure. I'd say 3 games, maybe 5 games.

Just feels like there is a suspension worthy play every night and all we got is Kadri sitting right now.

I am still heated that spear got nothing.

Shutup Roenick.

When you look at Penguins responsible for their cup runs, Fleury is a boat anchor
Fleury's playing great right now, but I thought the same thing while listening to that.

The biggest issue I took with that was when he said ''It's no wonder this guy has so many cups'', but in reality, he only has 1.5 cups as the starter and the 1 came back in 2009. He only started one game in the 2016 playoffs and allowed 4 goals and lost.

That doesn't take away from how he's playing now, the Fleury of his 30's is actually much better than the Fleury of his 20's. He's had his best years in his 30's. Just thought it was a fallacy to say ''It's no wonder this guy has so many cups''.

I know they're a WC team but the Kings are kind of a paper tiger. Their D-core is arguably top 5 in the league. They have 4 lines, they could use a top line winger tho. Along with Quick in net they look like they should be a very strong team.

Ovechkin looked awful in OT. I mean, just awful. I don't understand that at all. The Caps announcers were talking about how he has all the record for caps regular season OT goals (lol) but has never scored a playoff OT goal and I'm thinking, 'yeah, no ****'
One of the most overrated players in the league IMO. He is a nonfactor at even strength in these high pressure games. Hell, he is a nonfactor at even strength for a huge chunk of each season. Was never a fan of his, but dat shot doe.

Damn....Good thing the Devils won game 3 'cause the stats do not favor those who go down 3-0.

For those teams up 3-0 :

114 Teams won in 4 games
50 Teams won in 5 games
13 Teams won in 6 games
5 Teams won in 7 games
4 Teams lost the series
