Montreal absolutely dominating San Jose hey trail by 1. We trail Montreal by 2 points but have tiebreaker

So, you know how this ends. Montreal will win

Atlantic at this point is set; unless these three teams tank at extraordinary levels
  1. Tampa Bay
  2. Boston
  3. Toronto
Metropolitan it's probably safe to say spots 1 and 2 are one of these two
  1. NY Islanders
  2. Washington
The fight for 3rd in the Metro is between
  • Pittsburgh (81)
  • Carolina (79)
  • Columbus (77)
Philadelphia (72) is still in the fight but not too worried about them.

Montreal (79) is the only real contender in the mix for a wild card spot.

NY Rangers and New Jersey Devils are done.

Would be nice if Carolina lost to Winnipeg tonight. Not sure the Ducks can beat Montreal, although the Habs are playing a back-to-back.

Winnipeg up 3-0 over the Canes in the mid first.

Laine starting to play well again, Wheeler looks like he could hit 100 pts, Hayes fitting in nicely, Ehlers flying. That's a hell of a team. Roslovic not looking great though, I expected more from him.

I think we’ll beat out Montreal for a playoff spot. They have a fairly tough schedule the rest of the road and have outplayed expectations so far; will be tough for them to keep it up. Hopefully we can also pass Carolina. They’re in a better position than Montreal but have a very difficult schedule to close. Our game next Friday could very well determine who finishes ahead.

It's hard to believe after the disastrous last couple games, but the Jackets managed in that span to gain ground on Montreal and Carolina.

Who cares how often other team lost, while TortoreLLLLLa is still there.

if you want the columbus blue jackets to make the playoffs, then you should care how often "other team lost", no matter if TortoreLLLLLa is our coach or not.

plain n' simple.

We play Boston like 3 times in these 15 games, and our big brother tomorrow.

Yeah, we got help tonight. But none of this matters until the CBJ make it matter. And I don't have a lot of stock in that.
