When the league looks at it, there’s Wilson’s history. He’s had so many incidents and suspensions. You have to think with the repeat offenses it’s at least 10 games worth. At some point you need to suspend the guy for a season.

The league has no balls to actually punish dirty players that are either skilled (Wilson, Marchand) or are Penguins players (Cooke).

The decline of the enforcer has changed the game to allow that. Fourth liners are at least semi skilled now. As a result the Wilsons and Marchands of the league never get called to account in a way they might understand.

Softy of the night is this Mackenzie Weegar goal on James Reimer. I reviewed all the goals last night, but just didn’t type it until today because I was too tired last night, so maybe I forgot there was something else being more worthy of softy of the night. But I thought this one was poor and even the NBC crew were talking about it when showing the highlights of this game last night.

Remember when a poster here got into a Twitter fight with him? LMAO.

I haven't been on Twitter in a couple of years (and don't miss it at all) but when I was, I was among the honored to have been blocked by him. I think it was the goal and turd emoji in reference to one of his poor performances that was the cause. :D
