who do you want the Devils to sign in goal? Obviously Lehner or Markstrom probably are pipe dreams, but then you have Khudobin or Talbot who might not be bad
I think management will purposely stay away from Lehner and Markstrom, as those two are likely looking for a larger role than the Devils would want to give them. If we signed one of them, Blackwood probably wouldn’t be the clear cut starter and I don’t think they would wanna sign with us to be Blackwood’s backup or even 1b.

Khudobin or Talbot could be a gamble or they could work out just the same. So I would be fine with signing them or even going with Greiss. And if they don’t work out, I would never criticize Fitz for signing them, as it’s a roll of the dice anyway. As long as we don’t sign them to longer term deals.

We could probably get Talbot on a one year deal, but Khudobin and maybe even Greiss could get two year deals.

I would absolutely stay away from Elliott, as he isn’t good anywhere that isn’t St. Louis and he’s already 35 and hasn’t had recent success. Dell has been a decent backup in San Jose, but I think he’s better served to backup someone that’s more established than Blackwood. I wouldn’t trust him for 30 games.

I would also absolutely stay away from all the old guys like Miller, Anderson, Smith. Good chance they’re all about ready to retire.

After what I saw from Talbot, I want nothing to do with him.

I'm with @Zajacs Bowl Cut in that I want Khudobin if we can get him.

Talbot could go either way as the backup here. We could be screwed if he has to play too many games though.

Khudobin has been much better the last several years, but he’s 34 years old and has had some poor seasons. I feel like both he and Bishop have played better in Dallas, although Bishop had good seasons until his last in Tampa/the same year he went to LA at the deadline and stunk there too.

Maybe Khudobin is one of those who plays better as he ages? lol.

If Kathryn Tappen came out and said, "I go to Shapes Fitness because there are no meathead neanderthals there" on air, what would you think?
Honestly, I'd laugh. When I first heard about this I figured given his history where he has in fact said things that were off the charts offensive that it had to be a doozy. But when I heard what he said I was honestly underwhelmed. Seriously the comment he made a few years back about "The Sedin Sisters" was way worse than this one

It was a stupid comment made by a stupid man with a history of stupid comments that shouldn't be doing commentary in 2020.

I wonder if Milbury would be forced to apologize by the NHL.

I really hope he says "F U" to the league so he can get fired.

Anything to get him off my TV set.

Honestly, Islanders have a legit shot this year. Montreal <<<<<<< Islanders. I am not entirely sold on the Flyers’ defense/ goaltending. They took advantage of veteran lineups to get the top seed. Boston/Islanders are the winners. I want to say Colorado but my gut says Dallas. If Vancouver moves on, Vegas wins. If it’s the Blues, Blues will beat Vegas.

He shouldn't have said it even though we all get it.

But your point is closer to apples and discarded junkyard tires than it is to the common colonialism.

It may go six, even seven, but I like the Islanders to advance. I rooted for the Flyers once in my life and that was when they played the Soviet Red Army team in the 70’s. And I’ve never rooted for them since. Not about to start now that’s for sure. I lived in Cherry Hill, NJ for 3 years. I truly dislike Philly fans and their sports media. Both are so arrogant!
