I get that everybody passed on him multiple times, it just must be even more painful to have traded that pick down just one spot. It'd be kind of like us trading down for McLeod and then having Logan Brown turn into a star.

Plus, I like giving the Wild shit because they might be the most mediocre uninteresting franchise in the league.

 I can respect this.

Coleman is an absolute beauty and deserves every bit of this. He’s been grinding for every single thing he’s earned in this league, would love nothing more than for him to be rewarded tonight.

Low key as well since he was only a Devil for a short period of time, but seeing Maroon win another would be awesome too. I’m still amazed he never got a multi year offer from anyone.

If you watched the goal by Palat you just saw the one big flaw in Heiskanen’s game from my repeated viewings. Palat just cut right in front and Heiskanen sheepishly watched him afraid to come off his positioning to maybe at least make Palat pay a price. He’s really smart and skilled but he’s very soft.

Looked like he was trying to prevent a pass to Point to me...

He was but he had time to react to Palat and he weakly waves his stick. He saw Palat was driving to the net once he bent that knee down. He did sort of come off his mark but shied away. It’s typical of how he plays defense. Great positioning and stick but soft.

What primadonna BS did Hall pull exactly?
Not sure how you can say Hall was anything but a great Devil. The hand to ear thing was lame, but I’d hardly call that going out on bad terms. What I will always remember Hall for is winning MVP.

Well it was bad terms for me as far as I was concerned.

It was GOOD RIDDANCE for my part. :thumbd:

Coleman didn't pull that garbage from beginning to end as a Devils player.

He just came and worked no matter what the situation.

I fully agree with you on Heiskanen. He's an excellent player but he can leave some things to be desired defensively.

I personally didn't mind the hand to ear thing but that to me was him saying I'm gone sooner or later. It what it is though.

I was more pissed off with what he actually said prior to him doing that regarding the fans booing.

That hand-to-ear thing was just the icing on top of the s--t sundae from him prior to him getting dealt.

Thanks, Taylor....But no thanks.

Give me Pickles and watching him hoist the CUP tonight!

(btw, I notice that each time there is a post that's against me, MartyOwns gives a "like" to that post. It's pretty amusing)

it doesn’t define him as a player but the narrative that he is much better than Nico depends in part on him playing on a team that doesn’t ask him to do more than he can. In NJ he’d be playing with Severson on the first pair and likely not looking as good. Remember of Heiskanen is here Nico isn’t and Zacha or Zajac would be the first line center and Jack would have played about 20 minutes a game last season.
