welp, tampa it is.
That’s probably that. I don’t see Dallas winning 3 in a row.
As good as Khudobins been these playoffs he was pretty bad tonight. He was wayyyy off his angle on the OT goal; pretty soft.
Agreed on the call. The embellishment call on Point was just as bad. It sucks the awful officiating played a role in the outcome.
I think he meant he agreed with you that it was a bad call. How can you agree on that call?
The ref said that Benn kicked the Bolts player's skates from under him which, as we saw on the replay, he clearly didn't do.
Refs were a gong-show all night and it's a shame that they had played a huge role in who won the game tonight.
BUT it is what it is.
I'm just happy that Blake "Pickles" Coleman will get an opportunity that I'm sure he wasn't really expecting when he started the season with John Hynes and the Devils.

I think its time for a few Stars to call it a career after tomorrow.
It’s the kind of goal that when it happens on one of our goalies (especially Schneider or Kinkaid when he was still here) it’s usually excused for a screen, or blamed on the defense or John Hynes. But when you see it scored on another team it’s pretty apparent that it’s a weak goal.As good as Khudobins been these playoffs he was pretty bad tonight. Goals against review for Friday’s game
Lightning vs Stars: 4 goals against Vasilevskiy, 1 stoppable. 5 goals against Khudobin, 2 stoppable.
So that’s 9 goals scored on goalies, 3 are stoppable. That’s 33% of the goals scored were stoppable. Combined save percentages were .862%.
No, no, no. I meant I agreed with you on the call. It was a terrible call.

Trash call on Benn in OT, hate seeing the game and now basically the series end on that.
You guys are all nicer than me. I personally don't give two shits about Coleman winning a cup. Good for him but I'm not the least bit excited about it.
Since Florida opened everything up maybe they will throw a giant parade and they can all enjoy a real Covid Cup celebration first hand and really cause a mess.
I think the issue that was most suspect with playing Bishop that game was if he really should have medically been cleared to play at all. He looked like he was still hurt and he hasn’t been heard from since that game. This was bound to happen eventually...he's played 22 games in this condensed playoffs, that's almost as many as he plays in most of his 82-game regular seasons. I know the Bishop move was criticized earlier in the playoffs but they had reason to want to pick their spot to try to get him going.

Great post. It's not a case of being nice.
It's a case of rooting for a Former Devil to find success when he was stuck with a moron for a head coach for so long, and then all of a sudden goes from that to 1 win from an NHL Player's ultimate goal.
I root for that sh-t.
Because what else is there to do?
We can only talk about Askarov and Palms so many times in the Devils thread before our eyes bleed.
Plus, Hockey will be OVER after tomorrow for awhile!
Better to be happy for one of our ex-players who did nothing but bust his ass as a Devil 'cause really...that's the closest we will get to a Stanley Cup anyway.
