I'm going with Anderson on Quick. Quick sucks these days. He was all over the place in that game. Like the opposite of Cory, sliding past plays before they even happen. The other two I give some leeway because one is a funky bounce and the other is off the stick of a young Ovechkin clone.
Yeah. I go with the goal on Quick. Goal on Reimer was fluky and the Talbot goal came from a top-2 shot in the world. All three goals were bad but the first one was the baddest. And Quick has been a lot like Schneids this season. Wondering if the hombre should be shut down with his injury?

This site blows on mobile this morning. Can’t even like a post without my phone feeling like it’s about to explode and burns my hand. It’s getting so hot because the site isn’t losing efficiently and it’s lagging. This was a common problem right after the board format was changed for a little while, but it’s run good since probably the last year.

Anyway, I vote Quick, Reimer and Talbot in that order. The Reimer goal was fluky, but still pretty bad for being fluky. For reasons @Ripshot 43 mentioned.

That goal on Quick looked like something that went in on Chico back in 1983. Or Bob Essensa or Chris Terreri with their tiny 90’s equipment.

I wonder what the softy of the night is tonight.
It’s gonna be hard to beat goal 3 on Cory. That is likely a top 5-7 softy of the year. Condon’s goal against from the opposing blue line and Martin Jones from the other night against us were both pretty bad, but the more I see the Schneider third goal tonight, the more I think that’s worse than Stafford’s goal on Jones. It still won’t beat Condon’s though.

Matt Murray let in a really hilarious one on opening night to Brooks Orpik and Mike Smith has been good for probably 3 or 4 that would make the too 10 so far through the first 9 or 10 weeks of the season.

Goals against review for tonight

Golden Knights vs Devils: 5 goals against Fleury, 2 stoppable. 3 goals against Schneider, 2 stoppable. 1 goal against Kinkaid in relief, no chance. I'll accept a screen on that one, the guy was in front of him and got out of the way at the last second.

Coyotes vs Rangers: 3 goals against Hill, 1 stoppable. 4 goals against Lundqvist, 2 stoppable. Game tying goal and OT winner were both bad on Lundqvist.

Bruins vs Penguins: 4 goals against Halak, 1 stoppable. 3 goals against DeSmith, no chance on any.

Senators vs Red Wings: 2 goals against Anderson, no chance on either. 3 goals against Howard, 1 stoppable.

Capitals vs Hurricanes: 5 goals against Darling, 1 stoppable. 5 goals against Holtby, 2 stoppable. Another wraparound and a giveaway for Holtby.

Avalanche vs Blues: 4 goals against Grubauer, no chance on any. 3 goals against Allen, 1 stoppable. It's ANOTHER wraparound!

Jets vs Blackhawks: 3 goals against Brossoit, 2 stoppable. 4 goals against Crawford, 2 stoppable.

Flyers vs Oilers: 3 goals against Stolarz, 1 stoppable. 1 goal against Koskinen, no chance.

So that's 56 goals scored on goalies tonight, 18 are stoppable (4 were wraparounds), that's 32% of goals allowed tonight were stoppable. Combined save percentages were a once again very poor .893%, so I'm not surprised at the high rate of stoppable goals. We are likely going to see the lowest league average save percentage this year since it was .905% in 2006-2007. League average is currently .907% and doesn't look to be rising any time soon. The last time it was even below .911% in 2009-2010, it was .908% in 2008-2009 and it was .909 in 2007-2008.

No softy of the night tonight. If you watched the Devils game, you saw it. The third goal against Schneider.

One interesting thing I found tonight was that there were 4 different clean wraparound goals. One on Schneider, one on Fleury, one on Holtby and one on Allen.

What about Stone Hands goal on Fleury?

What about Stone Hands goal on Fleury?
That was deflected by a Vegas player.

The bad goals on Fleury were the Wood goal and the Palmieri wraparound, but neither were nearly as bad as the third goal on Cory.

Goals against review for tonight

Devils vs Predators: 1 goal against Kinkaid, no chance. 1 goal against Saros, no chance. Both were kind of weak rebounds, but the rebound needs to be very bad or one that squeaks through and lays in the crease for me to nail the goalie on that one. Or one that looks to be absorbed and pops out.

Flames vs Wild: 1 goal against Rittich and it's stoppable. Looked like a Mike Smith softy. 2 goals against Dubnyk, no chance on either.

Senators vs Canadiens: 4 goals against McKenna, 1 stoppable. 2 goals against Price, both are stoppable. He either tripped over himself or tried to sell goalie interference on the first goal against and he paid for it.

Maple Leafs vs Panthers: 4 goals against Andersen, 1 stoppable. 3 goals against Luongo, 1 stoppable.

Red Wings vs Islanders: 4 goals against Bernier, no chance on any. 3 goals against Greiss, 1 stoppable.

Kings vs Penguins: 4 goals against Quick, no chance on any. 3 goals against Murray, no chance on any.

Sabres vs Capitals: 3 goals against Hutton, 2 stoppable. 3 goals against Copley, 2 stoppable. I didn't even nail him on the first goal, which was a very poor rebound, but I couldn't tell if it just hit his chest and popped off that or if he just about had it covered and it popped out.

Ducks vs Blue Jackets: 1 goal against Gibson, no chance. It was borderline, but I think there was enough of a maze of players to absolve him of a stoppable goal on this one. Even though the maze was pretty far out. 2 goals against Bobrovsky, 1 stoppable and I think I found the softy of the night.

Stars vs Avalanche: 3 goals against Khudobin, 2 stoppable. 2 goals against Bishop in relief, no chance on either. 4 goals against Varlamov, 1 stoppable.

Flyers vs Canucks: 2 goals against Stolarz, both looked stoppable. 2 goals against Lyon in relief, no chance on either. First one on him looked awful, but it hit a skate before going up and in on a dead angle. 1 goal against Markstrom, no chance.

So that's 54 goals scored on goalies tonight, 17 were stoppable. That's 31% of goals tonight are stoppable. Combined save percentages tonight were the highest they've been in a while and .918%. Stoppable goals were higher I expected them to be, but they were also a lower on those brutal .890% nights.

Only a couple real softy of the night candidates. One was Eichel on Copley from a dean angle. but tonight's has to go to Bobrovsky for yet another dead angle goal that Daniel Sprong scores. He had one of these last week or so. I can't remember who it was against, Crawford maybe?

Very surprised at the lack of DD mentioning Mrazek’s shutout today.

The lundqvist face plant after losses is one of the best sights in hockey

It's too bad it's no longer all THAT fun watching him lose anymore since he's washed up now.

Remember the infamous Meme of how many goals Lundpads gave up that we used here?

*Note : I still love seeing the Rags lose but Lundpads losing is just simply old-hat now.

Cory Schneider in net for the Sharks tonight. Allowed 3 goals on the 4 shots and Pete f***in yanked him.

Sharks come back to win this.

The softy of the night will definitely come from this game on either Jones or Crawford. Ward was a joke also.
