As much as I would love for us to win the lottery, I actually think the team winning the lottery winning the cup literally the next year would be the best example of how stupid the NHL's playoff format/draft format was. And as much as I would love to think we could win the cup next year with Alexis Lafreniere on our team, the reality is otherwise.
