It's preferable none of them do, which is why we've seen the likes of Eric Gryba on this roster over past seasons and have elevated the minutes of the aforementioned Benning. I think everyone had an uneven season on the back end though considering the guys tasked with carrying the majority of the workload were injured for the most part.Nurse had an uneven season he was worse in the 2nd half than he was the first half (hasn't been particularly impressive in the World Championships either), if Sekera is truly "healthy" he'll be top 4 not Benning. Benning also will have some competition for his job in Bear and Persson, not sure either will be able to steal a spot in the first half of next season, but on the back half they should be gunning for his job. Also going to point out all of Sekera, Nurse, and Klef have some experience playing the right side.
In all honesty if Sekera's healthy, I don't see the logic of heading into next season with the four of them considering the cap situation unless the idea is to literally stand pat.
Bear will be no where near the Oilers next season and I wouldn't put a tonne of expectations on Persson at this point either. It'll be a fun time watching what he does in camp, but that signing screams Auvitu replacement.
