Anyone have a good non-chicken/non-tomato soup recipe for when you're sick? Been home the last two days with the flu or something, and I don't want anymore chicken soup.

That’s eliminating like 90% of soups haha.

Baked potato soup
Cheddar broccoli
Butternut squash and apple
Cheeseburger soup

It's a balmy 70 degrees here in AZ. Felt like I was in Maine all day. Brrrrr
and it snowed 4 inches in the mountains today.

Finally got around to watching Hereditary. Hour and a half of meh, then last half hour worth the price of admission. Probably not for people who aren't horror fans though.

If I was living alone, yes I would make November easily as well. But my wife is a wimp from FL, even though she's lived in MA for 20+ years.

We turned on the pellet stove last weekend. The kids were complaining about it being too cold, so we placated them by using it. Still had a dozen or so bags left over from last year, so we haven't even started in on the 3 tons we bought for this winter. We'll use the stove for as long as possible before we break down and turn on the actual heat and use the oil...

The Haunting of Hill House is phenomenal.

Saw the trailer and was intrigued. Did you watch Castle Rock? Also, thanks for the heads up on The Handmaid's Tale. Crazy show. I would never have watched it either because I typically dislike the actress that plays Offred.

Anyone going to see Halloween? I love a good slasher and saw a review that said this one is pretty good. I love horror movies that don’t require me believing in some supernatural being. There’s a reason the Texas Chainsaw Massacre holds up, slashers are awesome.
