King Friday was always one of the scariest personas for me. I would leave the room when he and elaine (who scared me worse) came on.
I hate puppets. :pout: ( and masks or animal costumes of any kind)

Ironic that I am currently working event bookings for a speaker who is also a ventriloquist.

Thanks

A bunch of us went there every Sunday in the early 90's as they would have the Pats games that were blacked out. There was nothing down there to speak of and the now Courthouse Station on the Silver Line was designed because that is where it was assumed the new stadium would be.

It all changed when Frank McCourt gave Rupert Murdoch the land as part of his buying the Dodgers and Rupert flipped the land almost overnight and the Seaport was born.

I worked in the Seaport area from 2005 - 2012. The Seaport Bar & Grille and Eastern Pier were favorite spots for myself and a friend that worked in the WTC. When I first started working down there, it was still just parking lots where you could pay like $8/day to park. When I got a new job, the only real changes that had started was the Whiskey Priest/ABG replacing the Seaport and Eastern Pier and a few restaurants had popped up.

Every time I go down there it looks different. Absolutely crazy how quickly that landscape has changed.

The Quiet Corner
So on Saturday I ordered a small pocket AM/FM radio for the hockey games and I enjoy talk radio. So living here by the lakes it is nice to have a decent radio. I got it today and am amazed at the channels I can pull in with it. I am actually pulling WTIC in conecticutt and the Boston channels as well. I got it for $19.97 and its a Sony. It pulls in more than my $160.00 shortwave radio.

Wait til the atmospherics change...

Its great especially how affordable the the thousands of new units that have been built are and how diverse that area is truly great to see more affordable housing being built for hard working Bostonians...

Another thing about Boston that irks me is most great cities light up their skyline at night - not here

Thats true.

Are any modern building built to look cool at night anymore? All white/gold lights. Even in Vegas there is no color on any of the new strip casinos all are sterile and white/yellow/gold.

Imagine how boring Christmas lights would be if every house in the neighborhood only had white lights on them.

While I slept someone left me a message saying they have a great opportunity for me. They never said who they were. People not know how to leave messages anymore?
Sounds suspicious.

and no. example: We had 3 companies come out to give us estimates on solar. Only one was fully prepared, knowledgeable and acted like a professional grown up. The other two were clowns.
