This dude really bout to throw away tens of millions of dollars over a ****ing helmet.

People were wondering why the Steelers were happy with a low value return relative to AB's production? There's your answer.

Yup

The Tomlin hate makes no sense. Steelers fans getting cocky!!

When you realise that's in a weak division which includes the Browns when they couldn't do shit and the Bengals who are just mediocrity personifed, it isn't as impressive as it first looks.

Tomlin has issues and isn't a great coach. But, he could be worse.

But I thought it was all Ben's fault. :sarcasm:

Ben's a cancer too. Guy has his own defense force in the Pittsburgh media for cryin' out loud. Not to mention his own radio show where he threw guys under the bus all the time at one point.

He just happens to be a slightly smaller cancer compared to Mr. Big Chest.

Ben never quit or walked out on his team. Nor did he stay away from training camp over something stupid like a helmet. There's simply no comparison between the two that's based in reality.

Did he really say that communication between the league and Brown is horrendous? What a f***ing joke. They told him to use a different helmet. It's really not to hard to comprehend. Then again we are talking about Brown here who isn't the most intelligent person around.

NFL: Use an approved helmet, here’s the list of all of them.

Antonio: You’re not communicating with me.

Arbitrator: I’ve reviewed your complaint and rejected it.

Antonio: You’re not communicating with me.

By the way, he took the practice field today with an approved helmet. His gripe is that the NFL has a double standard with how other players had grace periods with their old helmets. There is no way he will miss a regular season game, and at no point did he ever say that he wouldn't play.

NFL is biased against certain players? You don't say! Color me surprised. :sarcasm:

True, but his shenanigans in a Lake Tahoe hotel room caused him to miss 4 games.

& his irresponsibility on a motorcycle could have ended up much worse than it did (thank God he's got a husky frame).

He was never subjected to discipline for Lake Tahoe (as a recall the accuser's story was quickly found to be untrue). The one that caused him to miss 4 games was Georgia, and when the dust settled on all that it turned out to be a very knee-jerk move by Goodell. He was at one point immature and put himself into some bad situations off the field, but I don't think it can be said it caused the same team turmoil that AB causes. Not to mention it's been close to a decade since Ben was last in a position like that. Those calling him a "cancer" in the Steelers locker room are either drudging up old stories that have long since been put to rest or referencing his radio show, which never seemed to be a problem until AB lost his mind.
