I was pointing out it’s hyperbolic nature. Kakko was very highly rated coming into the NHL. He had a bad first season. It happens. The same could happen to Byfield. It doesn’t mean the 2OA in 2021 will be significantly better of a long-term prospect than Byfield.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, but even if they are/end up being as talented as each other, Byfield’s size and position at that skill set is a very special mix of attributes as a player.
