Nino has the sort of game that will wear well in the playoffs when it gets down and dirty and the whistles are swallowed. He's not a fighter, but he's a 6'2", 210 lb. pest. I think the coach has to make it clear to him what his job is. If it's as an overpaid grinder, so be it.
He's still much better than Rask.

He's still much better than Rask.

Exactly. He can be a useful player even if he’s not score. Yeah it sucks to pay a guy $5m with his shot and skills to not score but it’s not the end of the world and given the right line mates and role I think he can be effective as you mentioned.
