First time in franchise history the Ice Dogs have given up double digits in goals in back to back games.

In their inaugural season they had 9 games of 10+ goals against.. none were back to back

The slump continues has the Dogs got battered 10 to 1 by the Greyhound in the Sault tonight before a crowd just below 4,000 fans. Next game tomorrow night in Sudbury.

This coming draft maybe the big test.

They must have done something right in recent drafts. They got Akil Thomas in the 1st round in 2016 and he is in my opinion one of the best players from that draft. He is the complete package. They got Philip Tomasino in the 1st round in 2017. He has been great for Oshawa.

Funny how someone with enough hockey sense and VISION was saying the same thing as the ID’s faithful are saying now about three years ago, yet, that brilliant hockey minds gets banned from a local fan forum.

Here’s the thing, they failed not getting back both the 03’s and, what they did get back are not producing on the ice.

Barrie scored three unanswered goals in period two to snap a tie game at one and rolled to a 4 to 1 win over the slumping Icedogs before 4,280 fans at the Meridian Centre. Next game for the Dogs is tomorrow night against Hamilton at the Meridian only a few tickets left for this game.

Hamilton with two unanswered goals in the third shade the Dogs 5 to 3 in a comeback win before 5,383 fans at the Meridian Centre. The Dogs will try to end this losing streak Sunday at 2 at home against Sudbury.

Amazing how many fans pack that arena with the losing streak etc. Very impressive.
