Doesn't matter, it will be terrible and require countless hours of attribute/potential/player style modifications. When is the roster update after TDL usually?

Player design intrigues me. How can they replicate the likeness of some players and be so off on others?
The game desperately needs roster sharing in the future. I don't know who decides player types but I'd say 99% of hockey fans would say Tom Wilson is a power forward but EA has him as a grinder which is horrible for line chemistry. It wouldn't be a EA roster update if you didn't have to I can already see multiple players that signed entry level contracts not being in tell the next game
You should be able to "retire" players too. Why is Byfuglien still in the FA list at 88 overall? Why if I move Pete Mahovolich off of the Penguins alumni to make room for a CAP, does he get signed by the Devils in my franchise mode? So janky. The game desperately needs roster sharing in the future. That would be a cool feature. Also be able to pick numbers to retire and be able to potentially coax a player out of retirement to return for another year. Basically I want to be able to retire #12 and #37 for the Capitals and do the same for #8 and #19 when Ovechkin and Backstrom retire for example. You should be able to "retire" players too. There's some convoluted way to roster-share, I saw on another message board, you take the save from the ps4 with usb stick, and use some software, and then re-upload it to your ps4 or something...Doesn't matter, it will be terrible and require countless hours of attribute/potential/player style modifications.
Man online is a shitshow... just lost 7-4 and yeah, the guy was better than me. Out of this 11 goals, 7 were one timers. 2 Penalty shots, one rebound (after an actual blocked pass for a one timer) and a wrist shot from the circle. Game's waaay too fast.
Offline is decent though, definetly better in terms of neutral zone pressure.
Really hope they turn it around with the next gen releases (doubt it though).
Yeah, I'm enjoying the game solely because I haven't owned an NHL since 13. I've completely bought into the one-timer meta, and while I feel kind of guilty about it, I get way too frustrated when I lose not to do it. I try to enjoy creative passing plays, but they still end with a one-timer lol
They just need to make the goaltenders better at getting across the crease. In 13 one-timers are not a given, in fact I would get frustrated with how infrequently they worked. Just go back to that.
Have any of the glitches on NHL 21 been fixed? I am thinking of buying it but the glitches seem off putting. Is it unplayable? What are some of the glitches you guys have noticed? Thanks.
