So, what arenas haven't been released yet in terms of screens? I can think of the Air Canada Center (Toronto), Bell Center (Montreal), First Viagra Center (Buffalo), Nassau Colosseum (NY Islanders), PNC Arena (Carolina), and STP Center (San Jose) I know off the top of my head haven't been released yet.

Prudential Center (NJ Devils) hasn't been released yet and don't think the Arizona Coyotes,Chicago, Florida, and (Verizon Center) Washington

They had to scrap the plans to replicate that arena because it was too big and hard for them... :baghead:

I really hope they fix potential ratings in NHL 15. In NHL 14, 10 years in, most of the teams have multiple 90+ players.

I don't remember seeing Pittsburgh's arena. Unless I've missed it.

BTW is it just me who's had difficulty shaking the Mellon Arena name?

Was it really that hard for you to understand the star system?

The stars are easy to understand, the actual process of prospect growth was a muddled mess though. They changed how progression worked every year and have never given a clear explanation of it.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't this potential system used in the past? I could've sworn that I drafted a "franchise" player in the draft a few years ago. If so it's just another case of EA bringing back features and saying they are new.

At the draft it would say franchise player but the potentials were, A+, A, A- etc.

AEF
player projection ratings (which appears is all they will be using now) is much more simple, and quite frankly realistic.

NHL 10. When scouting players in years which your scout was "really excited about the rookie crops", you indeed could scout and find a franchise player before the draft. Instead of being rated with 5 top-5 players as most drafts had, you instead had 4 top 5 guys and 1 Franchise player (who oddly enough would always suck terribly for me).

Not always. There were a lot of Franchise players who would be drafted and start as an 83 overall but only have b- b- b- potential. Conversely you could draft a 75 overall who had A A A. I think the system in NHL 10 was the best. You could actually get late round steals. The potential system was simple to understand.

The only thing I don't like (and have never liked) is that players do not bust. It happens from time to time and I think they should make it an option in the game to where players don't always pan out.

Anyone know if there's any truth to the "No EASHL or OTP" rumors?

It's sounds completely ridiculous as it would remove at least 50% of the fanbase so I'm not too worried. but if it somehow happens to be true there will be an absolute ****show

I meant that there were letter potentials but a player could be a franchise player

Ya it is weird that EA hasn't said anything but those on the EA forums are pretty convinced there hasn't been anything on it yet because

1) There are massive changes so they are leaving it to show at gamecon or whatever its called 30%

2) No changes at all and they will just sneak it in last minute because they don't want to market it as the same thing (yet they do this already) 65%

3) It is actually gone 5%

I put my odds of each happening too.
