Update: After 4 preseason games, 2g 2a, I got sent back down and am playing on the third line in Halifax :S . Not sure why that happened. Anyways, we were 1-7 when I joined the club, 5-7 now with 5 goals and 2 assists. Anyone know why I'd be on the third line and if I can work my way back up to the first line like I can in the NHL?

You will be able to work your way up. This happened to me after my rookie season with the Avs scoring 18 goals and 37 assists for 55 points. They sent me back to the Q to play for the Remparts. I dont know why but I was put on the third line but worked my way up to the first line rather quickly.

You can't. You would have to create a player then put them on a team then play the winter classic.

For defense: don't forecheck too aggresively and the left bumper is your friend. The AI is mostly Pejorative Slured, you can just skate at the puck carrier holding the left bumper and they'll skate the puck right into your stick. If you play wing stay on the point man on your side, if center go to the corners and help the dmen dig it out.

God damn, I absolutely hate **** human defensemen in the EASHL...I play goalie and I just had to make 17 cross-crease saves, and 8 breakaway saves in ONE GAME!

I gave up 3 goals, including the GWG in OT, but it was no fault of my own...

Obviously, I got blamed for it, but it's their fault for making me save 3 times as many shots as the other goalie, and most of those shots being breakaways and cross-creases.

How do I get a more updated roster? I'm half way through the season and The Pens have Alex Kovalev on their team. I've got a PS3

people need to change difficulties..

3-4 points per game is beyond both dumb, inhuman and unlogical...

Yea I don't understand people who play on low difficulties and get 3-4 points a game, how is that fun?

Last time I did that was the first game that had BAP (08?) and as a defenseman, I played about 9 season (no simming) and my last season I lead the league in scoring, with like 55 goals and 70 assists. And then had like 40 points in 20 playoff games. Not fun.

When they changed around the BAP in like NHL 10 I think it was, it took me 4 preseason and then 12 AHL games to finally get my first goal, and it didn't even touch the back of the net haha.

I only play BAP goalie now, it's the only thing hard about the game.

I used to play BAP goalie, but i get frustrated with it because, the less shots u face, the better chance a puck gets by you

Definitely agree, to get my next "level up" I have to have a save percentage of .910 in all games I play. I'm sitting at about .903 right now, after 4 seasons. It's tough to get it bumped up when I get 11 shots a game haha.

But the odd time when I DO get 35 shots against, it's awesome

What sliders do you use? When I played goalie I never had less than 20 shots a game ever.
