I’ve heard you own an ultra rare Erik Cole Wings jersey.

Dude I was legit so hyped up have him on board that year. I think he was a great fit going into the playoffs. Shame we never got to see it. Maybe it's a difference in that really tight 7 game series with Tampa.

edler n nucks havent talked contract

Benning is trash at contract negotiations. Apparently he kept on telling Tanev, Stecher, Toffoli & co. that he would get around to it eventually. Apparently these guys got tired of waiting and signed elsewhere.

I can just imagine him kicking his feet up on his desk, smoking a cigar and saying, "Yeah, don't you worry bubbeleh! We're working on getting that contract offer to you soon."

because of vrana approaching rfa maybe trade him b4 season for somebodys 2022 1st that we think might be a lotto ticket . obviously real bad teams wont trade their 1st for vrana so it would be a borderline playoff team on the gamble they flounder . and at worse itd still most likely be a pick in the teens .

Sure let's keep trading players away, And we will never get out of this rebuild.

Dude, what? He's exactly what our team needs and we should do everything we can to keep him.

I could see Detroit making an offer for Nolan Patrick. Seems like a good reclamation project. Philly fans think a 2nd or 3rd round pick would be decent value. It would be a risk with his health issues, but he put up a couple solid NHL seasons before his issues.

At this rate Patrick is going to retire before Jagr. I wouldn't pay a high 2nd round pick, but if Yzerman can pull another "De La Rose - Fabbri"-style trade. Then go for it.

He had his surgery at the end of April, And he's expected to be ready by training camp, If i'm Yzerman i may give him a 3 year deal @ $4,500,000 if he wants more then deal him.

i guess you missed the part about APPROACHING RFA ? as in he might only re-sign for a year and want to go ufa . then theres also the factor of trading him makes us worse next season for the said to be loaded draft
Yeah well a one year deal isn't happening, We can give him 5-6 year deal around $5,700,000 Mantha money and still deal him later if he wants out.

With Yzerman saying he'd want more scoring, what do you think about signing Tatar to a 3 year deal? Familiarity is there, would be a pretty good LW option.

With that being said, I would rather have Nugent-Hopkins, Saad, Schwartz, but if the shoe fits

With the signing of Blash official now, puke!, I am thinking we are going to go the same old tired route of leaving the young guys down in the AHL and signing a bunch of turd FA on one year deals to make it to the trade deadline and move for 4th/6th rounders. I am trying to stay on board here but the anchor I am dragging trying to stay afloat is weighing me down man. I am going to hold my head above water until I see the first signing of the off season. If it's some low end player for under $1M or just resigning what we had, then I may just jump in and get it over with. I just can't see anything but another run at the #1 pick again and while that is enticing because of some of the players, I don't know as a fan if I can do that another season. I don't see the lines changing much with the signing of Blash again. More of the same, IMO.

He said that if kids will show they belong to main team at training camp they will get the job
