Never noticed this thread when I signed up a few months. I'm a junior at Kent State University studying Psychology. The Fall semester was fairly busy, so I didn't have much time for joining in discussion but that should change now. Active member of the punk and hardcore music community, and I'm a pro wrestling aficionado (New Japan and PWG). Despite living on the border of Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia, I have never been to a Penguins game before. Maybe someday I'll take advantage of the AE Student Rush tickets. I have been to plenty of Pirates and Steelers games. My all time favorite player is Jagr while my current favorites are Crosby, Hornqvist, and Maatta.

Penguin fan since: Hard to tell as I dont really remember. Always played with Pittsburgh in the NHL games my brother had (starting with 98). But you have no chance to watch NHL games in Germany unless you stream it or have nhl.tv so I guess I started watching most of the games in the 10/11 season once I was old enough to stay up on the weekend (or during the week ). Had gamecenter by the 11/12 season and could watch basically every game after that.

Good to see another Halifax Pens fan on HF. There's lots of them, of course in part because Sid, but a lot of us have been fans for longer. It's a city passionate about hockey, without an NHL team, so we have a diversity of team followings.
