Been reading on here for a few years, figured I may as well throw my name in the welcome thread.

Jamie, mid 30's from London, Ontario. Pens fan since I was 6 years old following Mario of course! Fortunate enough to be making the drive tomorrow for the game! Get to see some good hockey here in London with the Knights. Been watching Maatta since he was 16, seen Crosby in the memorial cup here and attend the prospect tournament every September. Hard to believe some players I saw here in September making huge contributions this year, Murray, Rust, Wilson. Been an extremely fun team to watch since December! Being in the middle of Leafs nation I am pulling for Kessel to get the Con Smythe

I'm from northeastern Pennsylvania though I'm moving to NYC in the next few days. Been a fan since 1999 when the AHL team moved to the area and have attended games every season since. I've combined seen three games in Pittsburgh with a record of 2-1. Been quite something to watch all the guys from here succeed with Pittsburgh and lead the team to multiple SCF appearances - hopefully tonight they get yet another Cup to add to their mantle. Looking to post here more next season but for right now, glad to be along to see this ride to its end.

Favorite Penguins memory (other than seeing them win the cup twice of course!): Kasparitis beats Hasek in Game 7-2001. I ran around the whole house screaming for a good 10 minutes.

My name's Peat, I'm from the UK and I've been following the Pens since 2013 on my girlfriend's insistence (love her, love the Pittsburgh Penguins). I signed up here in the wake of the Stanley Cup victory because I needed to fill the gap in my life left by a lack of hockey to watch.

My favourite Pens moment was the 6-2 victory over the Caps. Didn't expect to see that at all. Winning Stanley is nice, but I'm mainly just relieved that I can start sleeping again.

Interesting Fact(s)- 1. My first sports jersey ever is a toddler Jagr jersey. 2. When my dad relocated us to Pittsburgh they won the cup both years we lived there. 3. The Pens won 1 week before I joined the Navy in 2009 and just won again in my final year in service.
Least favorite player of all time- Any player who thinks they're above the game. I used to be a huge sports fan and have slowly become solely a hockey fan because of the ridiculous egos and horrible personnel of other sports.
Other hockey team I'm a fan of: If you're using 'fan' lightly - the Blues. My boss of the last few years is a die hard and I've come to really respect their story.

I've been a distant follower of hockey my entire life, even junior level as a lot of my brothers friends (he played a bit of pro lacrosse) were also hockey guys - but have over the last 3-4 years become die-hard enough to subscribe to the entire season and follow all your hockey news outlets. Part of the distance is that growing up in Florida you're either a football fan or basketball fan and trying to request hockey at a bar is an uphill battle at best. I liked this format so I ripped it off. Anyway, hope everyone is having a great week...for whatever reason I decided it was time to start posting instead of just reading.

Penguin fan since: December 27, 2000. Mario's return is when I started following them. I grew up a Patrick Roy/Habs fan and followed Roy to Colorado after the trade. Everyone in the area was a leafs fan so I chose the Habs because I didnt want to be stuck liking the same team as everyone. Plus you couldnt watch games like you can now with Center Ice and what not. So I started following Pittsburgh after Lemieux returned and than even more so when they drafted Fleury ( Always been a big fan of goalies...I think it's the awesome saves) and got hooked when they drafted Malkin and Crosby. Once I was able to get Center Ice I watch/PVR all the games. The Avs are my team in the West still
