Do you want him to lose again. Dude has a losing record vs Boston, in the regular season and postseason. If we have been giving games based on records, then I don't want Reimer vs Boston.

Don't think for a second that those games in the past 2 years reflect Reimer's ability. The team just wasn't that good during those games and were reflected in the blowout scores, shot totals for and against, etc.

Some games definitely do, but not all

dont worry, your secret is safe with me haha

need round 2 of this:

It's hilarious listening to the announcers. Orr land 4 or 5 in a row - nothing, Janssen lands one and its "HE STUNNED ORR WITH A SOLID RIGHT!" Orr knocks him to the ground and its "lost his balance". I know all home announcers do it but it is just funny.

Some games definitely do, but not all

2012 vs. Boston:
3 Games Played / 5 Goals against / 1.63 GAA / 0.948 SV% / 96 SA

2011 vs. Boston:
2 Games Played / 8 Goals against / 6.60 GAA / 0.795 SV% / 39 SA

The team that finished bottom 5 was a bad team.

What? The Devils are terrible on paper. Who do they have? A washed up Jagr and Elias? Lol, that's not a lottery team? They are terrible.
I didn't say that they're contending for the cup. They will likely be competing for a wild card spot in the coming playoffs. I don't think they're that bad.

[Added Later]

Regardless, we should be able to win this game. On paper, we're one of the best teams in the Eastern conference.

Basically this. IF Bernier wins this game I would want him to start against the bruins tomorrow.
ok so you're obviously beyond biased in Goalies so why should anyone take you seriously

am also gunna take a bet you didnt watch 10/11 and 11/12 seasons
cause u know nothing of James Reimer

Okay there bud. Just because I like Bernier more than Reimer doesn't mean I hate Reimer. I just don't like his style of play at all. I think his weakness is going to cost him eventually in the long-term or whenever he starts to play more than 37 games in a season but hey, if he wins us more games then I don't mind.

Also, 2011-2012 was his worst season so not sure what your trying to prove there.

Anyone have a website where I can watch the game at a later time? I might miss this game and tomorrow's boston game and would love to watch more than the game in 6 minutes video

I'd really like Reimer to start tomorrow game to get his revenge against the bruins, but I don't think its a good idea. They really exposed his weakness in game 7, so I would try Bernier tomorrow if he plays well tonight.

JHHahhhahaha.. I love posts like this.

So they waited until last 10 minute of the third period of game 7 to expose Reimer's weakness? Was coaching staff sleeping until that point? Or they wanted to do it with some theatricals?

Some people on this board never cease to amaze me.

I can get you a link for 12 minutes highlights at about 11 ET. Or full game early morning tomorrow.

How about you watch game 7 again? Boston keep firing shot from all over the place because they knew Reimer had a bad rebound control. Look at the Lucic goal and Bergeron goal for example. Both goals came off huge rebound Reimer gave up. Reality check: Reimer and the team both blow up game 7.

So about 30 minutes of pre-game warm-up and another 19 minutes for pre-game ceremonies..that is long...

The warm up would be the same as any other game. Games usually start about 7:05/7:35 so it will be about 14 minutes later.

It wasn't a big kept secret that Reimer's rebound control was (and still is) horrible. The reason the started firing from all over the place was because thats what you do when your down 3 and desperate.

yeah that's weird. He had to know he would draft higher for the next 3/4 years then drafting 29th. There's no way he expected his team to draft last witch comes with the CUP! No way!
It's not just about that though. If you skip that pick, then you lose 1-2 years of development time. If you plan to pick 20-30th in those years, then that's huge.

That's exactly my point. All you had to is fire shots from the blue line and hope Reimer give us a huge rebound so they can tap it in to the empty net. That's exactly what the bruins did. Leafs forward didn't do a good job covering their point so the bruins defence started to shot from the blue line. All the bruins forward had to is go in front of the net and get a garbage goal. Reimer did played over his head in game 5 & 6 but the team was pretty lucky (Seguin's post in the final minutes of game 6). Granted the team sucked in general but the Reimer didn't help either.

Wow. The Devils are bad. The Leafs are better in every conceivable way. I wouldn't swap a single player at any position at any depth.

New Jersey is going to bad for a long time. They're just entering the desert...

Clarkson with the GWG.

If Reims didn't play the back to back against Edmonton/Calgary, then Bernier doesn't deserve to start back to back games either

Reims deserves his payback against Rask
