Yes he is another smallish puck mover. He skates better than Butcher but lacks Butcher’s vision and passing touch. He’s likely behind Smith and Greene as well next year.

Greene shouldnt be on this team next year if Shero has a clue. Dudes shot.

Alsoif Davies gets signed, we have him as well.

It will never happen, but one of our beat reporter should ask Hynes about replacing Kowalsky as the power play coach.

Try Mike Grier or even Nasareddine in that role. Give Kowalsky a different job like video coach or young player development coach.

The Capitals wouldn't consistently be a top 5 PP from year to year with Rick Kowalsky running their power play.

Change my mind.
Ovy would vouch to Leonsis and upper management he needed to be canned because he would be impeding his ability to hit 50 tallies per year.

This was Hynes biggest f*** up of the year.

Kowalsky is for the AHL, and he isn't even good there.

Palmeri is not a good defensive forward. He does some really dumb things in the D zone.

That shot goes in past Cory's glove and I get slaughtered for calling it stoppable.

The shot before that cruises through Kinkaid's arm and everyone is blaming Hynes and the D.

Relegate Greene to something closer to Ben Lovejoy duties and he'll be fine.

His game is clearly slipping but he's still a smart defender. Just shouldn't be going up against the best players.

I agree with that.

I think he's a good PK guy and he'd be fine as a bottom pairing guy, or at least hopefully he will be.

I don't want him here after next year, but provided he doesn't drop off any more, he could be a good bottom pairing/PK specialist.

Better than Santini, for sure.

Schneider has been fine for over a month now too.
As I've said though, I think he's on a hot-ish streak to make up for how bad he was. He clearly isn't as bad as his first 9 games and I don't think he's as good as his last 8 or whatever many games it is either.
