I wouldn't call him a legit 2nd liner. Capitals have given him the opportunity to play top 6 and he didnt stick with their talent. Could be a good 3rd liner though.

And Nik Ehlers only has 31 points this season. Maybe he shakes loose in WPG as they try to sign guys like Connor and Laine.

I would still post the Big Mac gifs even with a lose. He has been great.

He doesn't win enough though. He has an under NHL .500 record. Goalies like Keith Kinkaid, who have a winning record are much more valuable.

Yes he is another smallish puck mover. He skates better than Butcher but lacks Butcher’s vision and passing touch. He’s likely behind Smith and Greene as well next year.

Definitely not.

Most goals we allow aren't bad, the defense is just terrible, but they do choose to show up for Blackwood because they know he isn't as good as the always winning Kinkaid or Cory.
