Monembeault has never been designated as the #1 goalie and since both goalies tied in pre season as both being below average, I guess the tie breaker went to the Veteran. You are right...Allen is more of a tank commander.

I can't remember the player, but it was a dman who scored even less goals than you would expect.

Definitely some question marks on defense. Though if Klingberg can rebound to his Dallas days and Liligren can continue to improve. I'd consider them being better than last season.

I'm not a fan either. Mainly of that third line.

But he needs to let both Gallagher and Pearson FAFO.

Because they wont be playing much down the line with the amount of budding talent in Laval and they become more manageable if you give them enough rope to hang themselves with early on.
