I mean there was really no way that was going to work out. Even in a best case where Lugo goes six up, six down then you have Diaz and company pitching to Acuna, Albies and Freeman in the ninth lol. And taking out Matz while he's cruising (and after he just hit!) is the height of overmanaging. Not to mention double-switching JD Davis out of the game with a lousy one-run lead when the pitcher's spot was six away, and of course JD would have come up as the tying run in the 9th. Mickey deserved to have that blow up on him, even if he could counter that well I lost with my best guy.
