Pacquiao is definitely on the slide, but I think to say he's just a name is a bit harsh. He's still a quality, world-class fighter and showed that in his previous few fights.
I'll confess I'm not a boxing expert, I try to watch the big name fighters, but I wonder if Mayweather at the very, very back of his mind is thinking "why didn't I take this guy 5 years ago?" Obviously, he's got his money and will go down as the best of his generation, but I think last night showed that Pacquiao just isn't the sort of boxer who could beat him. In his prime, I guess there was the risk that Pacquiao could cause him more problems and maybe catch him with a great show, but Mayweather was younger and quicker too.
